City Lines Bar and Grill is an American-themed elevated casual restaurant with a full bar, a large dining area, and a private dining room. We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and training. You will help to maintain a high-quality training program and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. You must be able to oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and balance seating capacity, as well as manage the flow of tickets going to the kitchen. We expect you to lead by example and uplift and inspire our staff during busy moments in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

This position is best suited for an individual who enjoys working evenings/nights.

Responsibilities

-Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operations.

-Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.

-Respond efficiently and accurately to customer compliments and complaints.

-Organize and supervise shifts.

-Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.

-Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

-Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.

-Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.

-Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.

Requirements

-Proven customer service experience

-Ability to listen and communicate effectively

-Excellent customer service skills

-Strong organizational and time management skills

-Food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait for staff

-Strong leadership, motivation, and people skills
